Communication tools and chat assistants: what to say next
VWeiwo (vweiwo.com) is a communication assistant app: pick who you’re talking to, send their words in, and get hints you can say out loud. It is not a chatbot for small talk. It does one thing: turning what they just said into a sentence you can say right now.
How is this different from asking a general chatbot like ChatGPT?
A general chatbot gives you a block of reference text, and you usually have to rewrite it into something you can say. A communication tool solves the “say it right now” step: it takes a stand based on the relationship, picks a tone for the moment, and ends with a sentence you can read out loud.
The relationship changes the answer. The same “can you deliver earlier this week?” gets a range first to a client, a conclusion first to your manager, and a clarifying question first to a colleague.
| General chatbot | VWeiwo | |
|---|---|---|
| First step | Describe the background and relationship yourself | Pick the audience first—14 kinds |
| What you get | A block of reference text | Up to 8 sentences you can say |
| Voice input | Mostly typing | Auto or hold-to-record, on-device transcription |
| Problem it solves | Research and editing | The second after they stop talking |
What can a chat assistant do for me?
It covers the moment right after they speak, when you do not know what to say next. Send their words in, pick the audience (manager, client, interviewer, partner, parents, and 14 kinds in all), and it gives up to 8 hints at once.
Each hint does one job: the General hint completes the thought, the Concise hint answers in one line, the Follow-up hint asks the question back, the Reassuring hint answers the feeling first, the Refusal hint states what you cannot do, the Case hint adds an example, the Personal hint uses your own experience, and the Terminology hint clears up the word first.
How long do I need to practice first?
No practice needed. The first run gives you sentences you can say. To get smoother, paste in the conversations you run into most and run them a few times; your own phrasing will form over time.
After you sign in you get 5 free hints a day, with the General, Concise, and Follow-up hint types and 6 audiences. Membership unlocks all 8 hint types and all 14 audiences.
First time here—what are the three steps?
Step one, pick the audience. Step two, send their words in. Step three, say the hint that fits. The first step matters most: with the wrong audience, even a good sentence will not land.
You can type what they said, or use auto-recording or hold-to-record; transcription runs on your phone. With up to 8 hints in hand, pick the one closest to how you talk, and make it your own.
FAQ
Is VWeiwo a chatbot?
No. It does not chat; it turns what they said into hints you can say out loud.
Does voice transcription need a connection?
Transcription runs on your phone, so recordings do not need to be uploaded. When you shape a hint, we receive what that hint needs and send it to the server.
Is the free tier enough?
5 hints a day after you sign in, enough for daily use. Consider membership when you use it heavily.
